According to unofficial results compiled from 233 polling stations, Arbab Amir is in the lead for the race for the Na-4 poll. Amir has 40,057 votes as compared to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Nasir Khan who has 21,736 votes.
Awami National Party’s Khushdil Khan got 21,654, whereas PPP’s Asad Gulzar secured 11,584. The voting was done in order to fill a seat left vacant by the demise of PTI MNA Gulzar Khan.
The polling concluded peacefully without any sort of disruption.
The NA-4 constituency lies in the south of Peshawar along Kohat and Bara roads sharing a border with Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency, Frontier Regions of Kohat and Peshawar and this constituency was created following the 2002 delimitation.
