Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar presented the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill in the National Assembly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">225 votes were cast in favor of the constitutional amendment bill, while 12 votes were against. During the clause-by-clause approval of the initial two clauses, the opposition members boycotted and walked out of the House.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">6 dissenting members also voted in favor of the constitutional amendment, out of which five belong to PTI and one to QL.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The 26th Constitutional Amendment was approved by the National Assembly with a two-thirds majority.
