{"id":11146,"date":"2024-11-23T15:03:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-23T10:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=11146"},"modified":"2024-11-23T15:03:00","modified_gmt":"2024-11-23T10:03:00","slug":"balochistan-government-imposes-section-144-across-the-province","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=11146","title":{"rendered":"Balochistan Government Imposes Section 144 Across the Province"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Government of Balochistan has imposed Section 144 across the province due to the law and order situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department, a complete ban has been imposed on carrying weapons and gatherings of more than five people.<\/p>\n<p>The notification stated that during the enforcement of Section 144, strict action will be taken against any illegal gatherings and the use of weapons.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that a sit-in and protest for the recovery of missing student Muhammad Musawar has been ongoing at Serena Chowk in Quetta for the past 9 days.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, on November 25, all political parties have announced a wheel-jam strike across Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>It should also be noted that yesterday, the Punjab Government imposed Section 144 for three days, effective from November 23 to November 25.<\/p>\n<p>The Punjab Home Department issued a notification regarding Section 144, under which all forms of protests, rallies, processions, sit-ins, public gatherings, and other political activities are banned across the province for three days.<\/p>\n<p>The notification mentioned that the decision to enforce Section 144 was made to maintain peace and order and protect human lives and property.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of Balochistan has imposed Section 144 across the province due to the law and order situation.
