Karachi: The national airline (PIA) has announced discounts on tickets for those traveling to Pakistan in the New Year 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A spokesperson for PIA stated that they have decided to offer a 10% discount on flights coming from Canada for the arrival of 2025.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson added that ticket booking can be made until December 10, and the discounted tickets will be valid for travel from Canada to Pakistan between January 11 and March 20, 2025.<\/p>\n

He further mentioned that this is a New Year gift from PIA management for fellow citizens living in Canada.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, the European Aviation Safety Agency announced the lifting of the ban on PIA’s flight operations.<\/p>\n

Defense and Aviation Minister Khawaja Asif shared in an exclusive conversation with ARY News that the Civil Aviation Authority’s hard work played a significant role in lifting the ban, and this success was made possible due to the relentless efforts of the Ministry of Aviation.<\/p>\n

Khawaja Asif stated that the ban on European flights has been lifted, and the removal of the ban will ease the privatization process of the national airline. He added that today is an important day for Pakistan, and a great piece of good news has arrived.<\/p>\n

He further mentioned that the rating of PIA’s other flights has improved, and there is hope that the bans imposed by the UK and other countries will be lifted.<\/p>\n

“Four years ago, the airline was ruined, but Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif worked hard. InshaAllah, Pakistan will regain its position in the aviation industry. During the PTI government, a minister made a statement that led to the imposition of the ban on the airline.”<\/p>\n

Khawaja Asif also stated that Airblue has been granted permission for flight operations to Europe, and after four years of hard work, success has been achieved.
