Subsequently, the KSE 100 Index saw gradual gains of 960, 1,121, and 1,282 points.<\/p>\n<p>After a 1,282-point increase, the index crossed the historic 118,000-point mark for the first time, reaching 118,220 points.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that yesterday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange&#8217;s 100 Index also surpassed a new all-time high. During the previous trading session, the 100 Index fluctuated within a band of 2,621 points but closed with a gain of 1,881 points at 117,008.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, at the start of trading today, the US dollar depreciated by 5 paisas in the interbank market.
