{"id":13572,"date":"2025-04-16T15:12:19","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T10:12:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=13572"},"modified":"2025-04-16T15:13:24","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T10:13:24","slug":"india-air-hostess-allegedly-sexually-assaulted-while-on-ventilator-fir-registered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=13572","title":{"rendered":"India: Air Hostess Allegedly Sexually Assaulted While on Ventilator, FIR Registered"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"89\" data-end=\"215\"><strong>In India, a woman battling between life and death on a ventilator was allegedly subjected to a horrific act of sexual assault.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"217\" data-end=\"420\">According to Indian media reports, an air hostess undergoing treatment at a private hospital revealed, after being discharged, that she was subjected to inappropriate acts while in the ICU on a ventilator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"422\" data-end=\"586\">Police stated that the air hostess claimed she was sexually assaulted on April 6 while on a ventilator in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Gurugram.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"588\" data-end=\"746\">The victim informed her husband about the incident after being discharged from the hospital on April 13, following which he filed a complaint with the police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"911\">An FIR has been registered on the 46-year-old woman&#8217;s complaint, but no arrests have been made so far. The hospital administration has not commented on the matter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"1104\">According to the complainant, she had arrived in Gurugram for training purposes on behalf of her company and was staying in a hotel. After falling ill, she was admitted to a private hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1383\">In her complaint, the woman alleged that on April 6, while she was unconscious and on a ventilator, some members of the hospital staff sexually assaulted her.
