While other video conferencing platforms saw a significant increase in users during the COVID period, Skype did not see any notable growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1219\">Subsequently, Microsoft started focusing on Teams and has finally decided to completely shut down Skype on Monday.
