Former national team captain Misbah-ul-Haq is likely to be appointed as the head coach of the Test team.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During a discussion in a news program, analyst Shahid Hashmi stated that Misbah-ul-Haq will be the head coach of the national Test team.<\/p>\n

He said that Saqlain Mushtaq\u2019s name was also considered, but Misbah is currently the favorite.<\/p>\n

Shahid Hashmi shared that eight coaches have been changed over the past two years, and this will now be the ninth coach.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, former cricketer Basit Ali has also said that Misbah-ul-Haq is ready to become the head coach of the red-ball team.<\/p>\n

On the social media platform X, despite no confirmation from PCB or Misbah, Basit Ali congratulated the former captain.<\/p>\n

He wrote, \u201cHead coach of the red-ball team, Misbah-ul-Haq, congratulations,\u201d and shared a photo of Misbah wearing the Test jersey.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that PCB has appointed New Zealand\u2019s Mike Hesson as the head coach of the white-ball team.<\/p>\n
