He added that the program will promote economic development in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"847\">President Zardari made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by Jihad Azour. Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, and other senior officials were also present.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"977\">During the meeting held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, discussions were held on Pakistan\u2019s economic situation and the ongoing IMF program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1258\">The President emphasized that the IMF program is contributing to Pakistan\u2019s economic stability and will help foster development. He acknowledged the IMF\u2019s role in supporting the economic progress of developing countries and appreciated its contribution to Pakistan\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1526\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The IMF delegation expressed full satisfaction with Pakistan\u2019s ongoing economic reforms and said the program is progressing in the right direction.
