Pakistan recorded a notable increase in exports to Saudi Arabia and European countries during the last fiscal year, reflecting positive economic developments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Exports to Saudi Arabia rose by over 41%, reaching $710.3 million. For the first time, Pakistan\u2019s total exports of goods and services to Saudi Arabia crossed the $1 billion mark, hitting $1.08 billion.<\/p>\n

According to a written response submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the National Assembly, Saudi company Aramco acquired 40% shares of Pakistan’s oil and gas company, GO, while another Saudi firm, Al Wafi Energy, purchased a majority stake in Shell Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The report also mentioned that Saudi German Hospital is investing $250 million to establish a modern 300-bed hospital in Lahore Smart City.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Pakistan\u2019s exports to European countries also saw a significant rise during the 2024\u201325 fiscal year. This improvement was made possible with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), leading to overall economic progress.<\/p>\n

Data shows that from July to April, exports to Europe increased by 8.6%, rising from $6.95 billion in the previous fiscal year to $7.55 billion. The growing demand for Pakistani products, particularly textiles and garments, in European markets is proving beneficial for the country\u2019s economy, industry, and investment landscape.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
