Pakistan has once again extended the decision to keep its airspace closed for Indian aircraft, announcing that the restriction will remain in effect for another month starting today. In this regard, a formal Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) is expected to be issued by the concerned authorities later this afternoon.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to aviation sources, Pakistan had closed its airspace for Indian aircraft on April 24 in light of the escalating tensions between the two countries. Later, on May 23, the ban was extended for another month, which was set to expire today, June 23. However, considering the current situation, it has been decided to prolong the airspace restriction for Indian aircraft by another month. The purpose of this decision is to maintain precautionary measures because of national security and the ongoing regional tensions.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that India has also closed its airspace for Pakistani aircraft in response to Pakistan\u2019s initial ban. The reciprocal airspace restrictions between the two countries not only reflect strained diplomatic relations but have also impacted air traffic and airline operations on both sides.<\/p>\n
