The death toll from rain-related incidents over the past three days has reached 50 across various parts of the country, while the Meteorological Department has forecast more torrential rainfall.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the department, heavy rains are expected from today until July 5 in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, posing a threat of urban flooding in these regions.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the department has issued storm warnings for Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, and the Pothohar region. Low-lying areas in Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum are at risk of flooding.<\/p>\n

Peshawar, Charsadda, and Nowshera are also expected to receive heavy rain. Similarly, flash floods and landslides are likely in upper areas, including Hazara, Malakand, and surrounding regions.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister has directed relevant authorities to take precautionary safety measures.
