NEPRA is scheduled to hold a formal hearing on the matter today, after which a final decision will be announced.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2586\">If the proposal is approved, consumers across the country could receive a total financial relief of more than Rs53.39 billion. The quarterly adjustment will not only apply to state-owned distribution companies (DISCOs) but will also extend to K-Electric customers in Karachi.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2588\" data-end=\"2969\">According to informed sources, if NEPRA approves the adjustments related to September, October, and November, consumers could benefit from a relief of up to Rs2.10 per unit.
