Police officials said that preliminary findings suggest the case appears to be a suicide, as the bullet wound on his head was from his own licensed pistol. The car windows were closed, and authorities have collected fingerprints, CCTV footage, and other evidence from the scene.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2244\" data-end=\"2569\">The investigation revealed that before his death, Khawar Hussain visited a restaurant twice. CCTV footage shows him parking his car, entering the restaurant, returning, and sitting back in his vehicle. However, eyewitnesses confirmed that while they saw him moving in and out of the restaurant, none of them heard gunshots.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2571\" data-end=\"2819\">Police stated that a high-level committee has been formed to probe the journalist\u2019s mysterious death.
