He noted that Imran was not naturally gifted but achieved greatness through sheer hard work, determination, and resilience.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2432\" data-end=\"2678\">Wasim Akram emphasized that everything he achieved in cricket, both on and off the field, was due to Imran Khan\u2019s guidance. He said that Imran always inspired the team with confidence, led from the front, and believed strongly in his abilities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2680\" data-end=\"2984\">He further explained that while many considered him a naturally talented bowler, Imran Khan\u2019s success was purely the result of hard work. Akram recalled that in 1976, Imran Khan even changed his entire bowling action \u2014 a highly difficult task \u2014 but he succeeded because of his unwavering determination.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2986\" data-end=\"3251\">Akram added that Imran demanded 100 percent effort from his players and never tolerated complacency. If a player underperformed due to lack of effort, Imran would reprimand them, but if someone gave their best and still failed, he accepted it and encouraged them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3253\" data-end=\"3607\">It is worth remembering that Wasim Akram made his international debut in 1984 under Imran Khan\u2019s captaincy. With Imran\u2019s mentorship, Akram rose to become one of the greatest fast bowlers in the world.
