President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the confirmation of additional judges and the extension of service for certain judges serving in various high courts across the country, with formal notifications issued in this regard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The approvals were granted in light of the recommendations of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan and were made on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, ensuring continuity and smooth functioning of the judicial system.<\/p>\n

The president approved the permanent appointment of 11 additional judges of the Lahore High Court, including Justice Hassan Nawaz Makhdum, Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Akbar Ali, Justice Syed Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Wains, Justice Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Muhammad Owais Khalid, Justice Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood, Justice Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, and Justice Abhar Gul Khan. In addition, the service term of Lahore High Court Additional Judge Justice Tariq Mahmood Bajwa has been extended by six months.<\/p>\n

Similarly, the president approved the confirmation of 10 additional judges of the Sindh High Court as permanent judges, including Justice Miran Muhammad Shah, Justice Tasneem Sultana, Justice Riazat Ali Sahar, Justice Muhammad Hassan, Justice Abdul Hamid Bhagi, Justice Jan Ali Junejo, Justice Nisar Ahmed Bhambhro, Justice Ali Haider, Justice Muhammad Usman Ali Hadi, and Justice Muhammad Jafar Raza.<\/p>\n

The service terms of Sindh High Court Additional Judges Justice Khalid Hussain Shahani and Justice Syed Faiz-ul-Hassan Shah have also been extended by six months.<\/p>\n

Regarding the Peshawar High Court, the president approved the permanent appointment of six additional judges, including Justice Muhammad Tariq Afridi, Justice Abdul Fayyaz, Justice Salahuddin, Justice Sadiq Ali, Justice Syed Mudassar Ameer, and Justice Qazi Jawad Ehsanullah.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the service terms of four additional judges of the Peshawar High Court\u2014Justice Inamullah Khan, Justice Farah Jamshed, Justice Sabitullah Khan, and Justice Aurangzeb\u2014have been extended by six months to ensure uninterrupted judicial proceedings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
