Under the notification, revised valuations for residential and commercial properties have been implemented.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the notification, property rates in the federal capital have been increased by 15 to 75 percent. The FBR stated that the market value of immovable properties will now be determined based on these revised rates, and capital gains tax as well as withholding tax will be collected accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The notification further stated that the new official rate for residential constructed properties up to five years old has been set at Rs 3,000 per square foot, while the rate for residential properties older than five years has been fixed at Rs 1,500 per square foot.<\/p>\n<p>The FBR clarified that with the issuance of the new SRO, all previous property valuation rates have been annulled, and all future tax assessments and collections will be carried out in accordance with the newly notified valuations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued new official property valuation rates and has also released a formal notification in this regard.
