Various programs will also be organized to show unity with the oppressed Kashmiri people.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1907\" data-end=\"2186\">The notification stated that all government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, government corporations, and all public and semi-public educational institutions under the administrative control of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will remain closed on the said date.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2188\" data-end=\"2427\">Earlier, the federal government had also announced a nationwide public holiday on Kashmir Solidarity Day. In its notification, the federal government confirmed that February 5, 2026, will be observed as a public holiday across the country.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2429\" data-end=\"2704\">Kashmir Solidarity Day is observed every year in Pakistan to express support for the Kashmiri people.
