The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken legal action against the Prime Minister and federal cabinet for rejecting the Supreme Court’s decision. PTI’s Central Secretary of Information, Farukh Habib, has written a letter to the Federal Cabinet Division in which he has requested the Prime Minister’s office to provide verified details of the federal cabinet meeting held under his chairmanship.<\/p>\n

The letter requests details of the participants, agenda, action taken, and decisions made during the federal cabinet meeting on April 4th.<\/p>\n

Farukh Habib stated that national media outlets reported that the cabinet had rejected the Supreme Court’s decision. The three-member bench had issued a verdict on April 4th on constitutional petition number 5\/2023, granting citizens the fundamental right of access to verified information.
