{"id":21187,"date":"2026-04-09T12:23:40","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T07:23:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=21187"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:23:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T07:23:40","slug":"thousands-of-government-vehicles-unaccounted-for-in-balochistan-probe-committee-formed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=21187","title":{"rendered":"Thousands of Government Vehicles Unaccounted for in Balochistan, Probe Committee Formed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A significant report on government vehicles in Balochistan has revealed that records of 3,762 vehicles are missing, raising serious concerns over administrative oversight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Excise Department presented the report to Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti, stating that a total of 14,304 government vehicles are listed in the department\u2019s database, however, the presence of 3,672 vehicles could not be verified during the validation process.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, a large number of vehicles from various departments remain untraceable, including 1,142 from the Agriculture Department, 443 from the Police, and 171 from Local Government, whose existence could not be confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in Quetta, 168 vehicles of the Health Department and 131 of the Education Department were also found missing, while 113 vehicles each from the Services and General Administration as well as Planning and Development departments could not be located.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, 65 vehicles from the Planning Department and 63 from the Social Welfare Department are also unaccounted for, raising further administrative concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister of Balochistan has formed a three-member committee to investigate the matter and determine the whereabouts of these vehicles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A significant report on government vehicles in Balochistan has revealed that records of 3,762 vehicles are missing, raising serious concerns over administrative oversight.
