He added that new discoveries will strengthen national reserves and reduce reliance on imported fuel.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2674\" data-end=\"3155\">According to the official statement issued by OGDCL, the Baragzai X-1 well is being regarded as the largest oil and gas discovery in the country\u2019s history, while the discoveries in Kohat represent a major exploration success for Pakistan. The statement noted that the well is currently producing around 15,000 barrels of oil per day along with 45 million cubic feet of gas, with plans to increase production to 25,000 barrels per day and 60 million cubic feet of gas in the future.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3157\" data-end=\"3499\">The statement further mentioned that the project was developed in one of the most challenging terrains of the country, where OGDCL ensured efficient and safe operations through the use of advanced technology.
