{"id":22337,"date":"2026-06-18T12:43:58","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T07:43:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=22337"},"modified":"2026-06-18T12:43:58","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T07:43:58","slug":"final-text-agreed-in-iran-us-memorandum-immediate-talks-to-begin-on-implementation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=22337","title":{"rendered":"Final Text Agreed in Iran-US Memorandum, Immediate Talks to Begin on Implementation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Iran has confirmed that the final text of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States has been agreed upon and electronically signed by the presidents of both countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the agreement has already been signed electronically, making a separate signing ceremony unnecessary.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the previously planned meeting in Switzerland is no longer intended for signing the agreement, although negotiations between technical teams in Geneva are expected to continue.<\/p>\n<p>According to Baghaei, immediate discussions will begin to implement the provisions of the memorandum.<\/p>\n<p>He said responsibility for matters related to the Strait of Hormuz would rest with Iran and Oman, and fees would be charged for services provided to vessels using the waterway.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson reiterated that Iran&#8217;s missile program and defense capabilities are not open to negotiation and that Iranian nuclear material will not be transferred abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Baghaei added that Iran possesses options for reducing uranium enrichment levels while safeguarding national interests.<\/p>\n<p>He further stated that under the agreement, no additional military deployment in the region or new sanctions should be imposed during the next 60 days.<\/p>\n<p>Iran also expects oil-related sanctions to be lifted and wants permission to resume oil exports during the implementation period.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson said the United States is expected to remove obstacles preventing Iran from accessing its frozen assets.<\/p>\n<p>Baghaei warned that continued Israeli military operations in Lebanon could be viewed as a violation of the agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iran has confirmed that the final text of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States has been agreed upon and electronically signed by the presidents of both countries.
