Pakistan has officially launched registration for Hajj 2027, with the Ministry of Religious Affairs unveiling key details for both government and private Hajj schemes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said the Hajj system has been digitized with the support of the National Information Technology Board to improve transparency and efficiency.<\/p>\n

He announced that Hajj 2027 registration will be completely free of charge and no registration fee will be collected from applicants.<\/p>\n

Registration will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis, and it will be mandatory for applicants seeking to participate in either the government or private Hajj scheme.<\/p>\n

According to the minister, a valid passport with an expiry date extending at least until November 26, 2027, will be required for registration.<\/p>\n

Family members will be allowed to register together, while overseas Pakistanis will also be able to complete registration from anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n

The ministry stated that registration can be completed through designated banks across the country as well as through online platforms.<\/p>\n

Applicants will be able to choose between government and private Hajj schemes after completing the registration process.<\/p>\n

Discussing Hajj 2026, the minister said Pakistani pilgrims expressed a high level of satisfaction with the arrangements, and complaints remained below one percent.<\/p>\n

He added that around 80 percent of Pakistani pilgrims benefited from the Road to Makkah initiative operating from Lahore.<\/p>\n

The ministry is also assessing the possibility of returning a portion of unused funds to pilgrims who performed Hajj in 2026.<\/p>\n

The minister noted that Pakistan’s Muslim population now exceeds 230 million, and discussions are ongoing with Saudi authorities to increase Pakistan’s Hajj quota to at least 230,000 pilgrims.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
