{"id":22608,"date":"2026-07-06T14:18:42","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T09:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=22608"},"modified":"2026-07-06T14:18:42","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T09:18:42","slug":"maryam-nawaz-ordered-merit-based-action-foreign-women-were-rescued-by-police-faisal-kamran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=22608","title":{"rendered":"Maryam Nawaz Ordered Merit-Based Action, Foreign Women Were Rescued by Police: Faisal Kamran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Lahore DIG Operations Faisal Kamran has said statements from the foreign women confirm that they were rescued by Punjab Police.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a press conference regarding the alleged abduction and sexual assault case involving foreign women in Lahore, Faisal Kamran rejected social media claims that the women had escaped on their own.<\/p>\n<p>He said the victims&#8217; own statements confirm that Punjab Police rescued them.<\/p>\n<p>According to the DIG Operations, Safe City cameras were used to track the movement of the suspects&#8217; vehicle, while its location was traced to arrest the accused.<\/p>\n<p>Faisal Kamran said police received information about the alleged abductors from the father of one of the foreign women.<\/p>\n<p>He said the relevant embassy wanted the women to leave Pakistan as soon as possible, but police requested that they stay for one additional day to record their statements and complete medical examinations.<\/p>\n<p>The women were allowed to travel abroad after their medical examinations and statements were completed.<\/p>\n<p>Faisal Kamran said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz personally called and directed police to handle the case strictly on merit, stressing that anyone found guilty should be punished.<\/p>\n<p>He added that all suspects were produced before the court in handcuffs and police obtained their physical remand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lahore DIG Operations Faisal Kamran has said statements from the foreign women confirm that they were rescued by Punjab Police.
