Islamabad: Former Chairman of the Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani, has condemned the violation of the Constitution by the federal government. He said Constitution has become a joke between the federal government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a statement, Raza Rabbani stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is defending the Constitution, which it has violated the most. He added that there is a mockery being made of the Constitution between the PTI and the federal government.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Raza Rabbani stated that the PTI violated the Constitution by implementing ordinances, depriving Parliament of its legislative rights, and committing violations by appointing two members of the Election Commission. He further stated that the PTI revoked the Article 6 prosecution team against former President Pervez Musharraf.<\/p>\n

The former Senate Chairman stated that the motion of no-confidence against the Prime Minister was unconstitutional, and the role of the Deputy Speaker in this was also unconstitutional. The PTI’s Prime Minister suggested an unconstitutional option to the President to dissolve the assembly, and the President acted upon it.<\/p>\n
