Renowned Bollywood and Hindi cinema actor Rajesh Sharma is reportedly in critical condition after being bitten by a venomous insect during the shooting of South Indian superstar Prabhas’ upcoming film.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Indian media reports, Rajesh Sharma is undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital in Dhakuria, Kolkata.<\/p>\n

Actress Sudipa Chatterjee shared a press note on social media on behalf of Rajesh Sharma’s family, confirming the actor’s deteriorating health condition.<\/p>\n

According to the statement, the incident occurred at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where shooting for Prabhas’ upcoming film was underway.<\/p>\n

After the shoot wrapped up, Rajesh Sharma was speaking with local technical crew members near dense bushes when he was bitten by an insect.<\/p>\n

The actor initially considered the bite minor and did not seek immediate medical treatment.<\/p>\n

Around six hours later, Rajesh Sharma developed severe pain in his right leg. Despite his worsening condition, he boarded a flight to Kolkata.<\/p>\n

During the flight, the actor developed a high fever and his health deteriorated further.<\/p>\n

Doctors at the hospital said the infection caused by the venom had spread from Rajesh Sharma’s toes to his knee, while large blisters had developed on his leg.<\/p>\n

The actor is also experiencing severe breathing difficulties.<\/p>\n

Doctors have warned that the infection could cause a blood clot in his leg. If the clot travels to his lungs, the condition could become life-threatening.<\/p>\n
