{"id":22990,"date":"2026-07-22T12:39:07","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T07:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=22990"},"modified":"2026-07-22T12:39:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T07:39:07","slug":"pakistan-increases-petroleum-prices-new-rates-effective-from-july-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=22990","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan Increases Petroleum Prices, New Rates Effective from July 22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Government of Pakistan has announced an increase in petroleum product prices, with the revised rates taking effect from July 22.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to an official notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs4.93 per litre, raising its new price to Rs320.73 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>The price of high-speed diesel has also been increased by Rs7.15 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs367.21 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>The government has further raised the price of kerosene oil by Rs6.78 per litre, setting its new price at Rs289.37 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the All Pakistan Petroleum Pumps Association has announced an indefinite nationwide shutdown of petrol pumps after negotiations with the Ministry of Petroleum failed.<\/p>\n<p>In a video statement, the association&#8217;s General Secretary, Nauman Ali Butt, said the proposed daily pricing mechanism for petroleum products was unacceptable and had been rejected by the association.<\/p>\n<p>He added that following the failure of talks, petrol pumps across the country would remain closed indefinitely from 12:00 a.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of Pakistan has announced an increase in petroleum product prices, with the revised rates taking effect from July 22.
