The crew was reported to be safe.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) had reported a fire aboard a vessel approximately 70 nautical miles off the Saudi coastal town of Al Shaqiq.<\/p>\n<p>According to the tanker captain, the fire was caused by a missile strike.
