However, there has been no official confirmation of the reported development.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of mediation efforts by Pakistan and Qatar to reduce tensions in the Middle East, both the United States and Iran have reportedly submitted their responses to new proposals aimed at restarting suspended negotiations.<\/p>\n<p>According to Al Arabiya, Iran has conveyed to Pakistan that it is willing to continue talks with the United States in Geneva, Doha or Islamabad under the framework of the reported &#8220;Islamabad Memorandum.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The report claims that Iran wants negotiations to begin with the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, followed by discussions on its frozen assets and then its nuclear program. It also says Iran rejects the establishment of any new maritime corridor in the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n<p>According to the broadcaster, the reported diplomatic progress comes after a second consecutive night without new US strikes on Iran, while Iran also refrained from launching attacks against US targets in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian military spokesperson Mohammad Akrami Nia claimed that the United States had not carried out attacks on Iran during the past two nights.
