{"id":23200,"date":"2026-08-04T12:39:29","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T07:39:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23200"},"modified":"2026-08-04T12:39:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T07:39:29","slug":"rana-sanaullah-says-formation-of-new-provinces-is-not-on-the-agenda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23200","title":{"rendered":"Rana Sanaullah says formation of new provinces is not on the agenda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Prime Minister&#8217;s adviser on political affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that the creation of new provinces is not part of the government&#8217;s agenda and that the existing parliamentary system will continue to serve the country in the future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the media, Sanaullah described the elections in Azad Kashmir as free and fair and claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would form the next government in the region.<\/p>\n<p>He said the people of Azad Kashmir had expressed confidence in the PML-N because of development projects carried out in Punjab. He also criticised the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for raising objections regarding the election process.<\/p>\n<p>Sanaullah expressed confidence that his party would perform strongly in the next phase of the elections and said that the PPP would eventually accept the results.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to a question about the creation of new provinces, he said that no formal meeting had been held on the matter and that no official position had been adopted by the party.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Constitution of 1973 and Pakistan&#8217;s parliamentary system had played a vital role in maintaining national unity over the past several decades.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sanaullah, the problem lies not with the constitutional framework but with failures to implement it in its true spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Peoples Party has not yet issued an official response to the remarks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister&#8217;s adviser on political affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that the creation of new provinces is not part of the government&#8217;s agenda and that the existing parliamentary system will continue to serve the country in the future.
