Authorities have placed containers along key roads, while M.A. Jinnah Road has been closed to traffic.<\/p>\n<p>According to traffic officials, alternative routes have been arranged for commuters travelling from Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Hasan Square, Shahrah-e-Faisal and other major areas of the city.<\/p>\n<p>In Islamabad, the central procession concluded at Imam Bargah Isna Ashari in the G-6 sector, while the main procession in Peshawar started from Imam Bargah Hussainia Hall in the Saddar area.<\/p>\n<p>In Lahore, the main procession will begin at Haveli Alif Shah and conclude at Karbala Gamay Shah.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, mobile phone services have been suspended in several areas of Quetta because of security concerns, while Section 144 has been imposed in Hyderabad and nearby districts, where restrictions have also been placed on pillion riding.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said additional police personnel and security officials had been deployed to ensure public safety and maintain traffic flow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Processions are being held across Pakistan today to mark the chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala, with authorities implementing extensive security measures in several cities.
