{"id":23354,"date":"2026-08-13T13:42:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T08:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23354"},"modified":"2026-08-13T13:42:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T08:42:17","slug":"two-men-sentenced-to-life-imprisonment-twice-in-karachi-child-gang-rape-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23354","title":{"rendered":"Two men sentenced to life imprisonment twice in Karachi child gang rape case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Karachi: An additional sessions court in District South has sentenced two men to life imprisonment twice after they were convicted of abducting and gang raping a minor girl after luring her with the promise of food supplies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The court convicted Ghulam Rasool and Khalid in the kidnapping and gang rape case and handed each of them two life sentences.<\/p>\n<p>The court also ordered both convicts to pay Rs500,000 each in compensation to the victim.<\/p>\n<p>According to the prosecution, the incident took place in 2022 when the accused lured the minor girl with the promise of providing food supplies before abducting her and subjecting her to gang rape near Karachi&#8217;s Seaview.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution told the court that the accused worked for an online taxi service and that their records were obtained from the relevant service company during the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>In its verdict, the court noted that the victim had identified both accused during an identification parade and said her testimony carried fundamental importance in the case.<\/p>\n<p>The court further observed that the medical evidence was fully consistent with the victim&#8217;s statement, strengthening the prosecution&#8217;s case against the accused.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Karachi: An additional sessions court in District South has sentenced two men to life imprisonment twice after they were convicted of abducting and gang raping a minor girl after luring her with the promise of food supplies.
