Islamabad: Authorities have begun preparations for the possible transfer of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), with arrangements being considered for his medical examination, treatment and security.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, the possibility of transferring Imran Khan to PIMS increased following an important meeting held in Islamabad, although a final decision on the move is still awaited.<\/p>\n

Sources told Geo News that consultations among the relevant authorities are continuing over Imran Khan’s hospital transfer, with various administrative aspects being reviewed.<\/p>\n

During the meeting concerning the former prime minister’s possible transfer, officials reviewed administrative matters and discussed the formation of a medical board at PIMS as well as security arrangements.<\/p>\n

Sources said preparations have already begun at PIMS in anticipation of Imran Khan’s possible transfer, with arrangements being made for his medical examination and treatment.<\/p>\n

However, no final decision has yet been taken to transfer Imran Khan to PIMS, and the final course of action is expected after approval from the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n
