However, reports suggest that several centres are collecting between Rs6,000 and Rs7,000 in total from Umrah pilgrims.<\/p>\n<p>Long queues have also been witnessed at various facilitation centres in Karachi, with pilgrims facing an additional financial burden due to the alleged overcharging.<\/p>\n<p>Many Umrah pilgrims are reportedly unfamiliar with smartphones and the process of paying vaccination fees through the Pak ID app, leaving them dependent on facilitation centres.<\/p>\n<p>Complaints have consequently emerged that some centres are taking advantage of this lack of awareness and charging pilgrims more than the prescribed amount.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Karachi: Umrah pilgrims are reportedly being charged thousands of rupees above the prescribed vaccination fees at NADRA facilitation centres in Karachi.
