{"id":23779,"date":"2026-09-15T13:09:57","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:09:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23779"},"modified":"2026-09-15T13:09:57","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:09:57","slug":"13-civilians-injured-in-houthi-missile-and-drone-attacks-on-saudi-arabia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23779","title":{"rendered":"13 civilians injured in Houthi missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Riyadh: Thirteen civilians were injured and several homes and vehicles were damaged in ballistic missile and drone attacks launched by Houthi forces on Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi-led military coalition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The coalition said multiple ballistic missiles and drones were launched towards Saudi Arabia on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki al-Maliki said civilian facilities in Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif were targeted in the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>According to al-Maliki, 13 people suffered minor to moderate injuries, while seven homes and two vehicles were damaged.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement posted on X, the coalition spokesperson condemned the attacks and said repeated targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure was contributing to further escalation.<\/p>\n<p>He said the coalition&#8217;s joint command would take firm and responsible action to protect Saudi Arabia&#8217;s sovereignty, civilian infrastructure and population from such attacks.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Maliki said any response would be carried out in accordance with international law and the right to self-defence enshrined in the United Nations Charter.<\/p>\n<p>The Houthis had earlier claimed to have targeted Saudi Arabia&#8217;s King Khalid Air Base with ballistic missiles.<\/p>\n<p>A Houthi spokesperson claimed the operation was carried out in response to more than 300 Saudi airstrikes across various Yemeni provinces over the previous five days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Riyadh: Thirteen civilians were injured and several homes and vehicles were damaged in ballistic missile and drone attacks launched by Houthi forces on Saudi Arabia, according to the Saudi-led military coalition.
