{"id":23785,"date":"2026-09-15T13:28:56","date_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:28:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23785"},"modified":"2026-09-15T13:28:56","modified_gmt":"2026-09-15T08:28:56","slug":"saudi-led-coalition-vows-strong-response-to-houthi-attacks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=23785","title":{"rendered":"Saudi-led coalition vows strong response to Houthi attacks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Riyadh: The Saudi-led coalition has vowed a strong response to missile and drone attacks launched by Houthi forces against Saudi Arabia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Major General Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, said the Houthis had targeted civilians and civilian property, describing the attacks as evidence of what he called their extremist approach and policy of escalating tensions.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Maliki said coalition forces would respond to the attacks with responsibility and determination, adding that all necessary operational and defensive measures would be taken to counter the Houthis.<\/p>\n<p>He said necessary steps would be taken to protect Saudi Arabia&#8217;s security, civilians and civilian infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Saudi-led military coalition said multiple ballistic missile and drone attacks launched by Houthi forces against Saudi Arabia on Monday had injured 13 civilians.<\/p>\n<p>According to the coalition, civilian facilities in Khamis Mushait, Abha and Taif were also targeted in the attacks.<\/p>\n<p>The Houthis, meanwhile, claimed a day earlier that they had targeted Saudi Arabia&#8217;s King Khalid Air Base with ballistic missiles and drones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Riyadh: The Saudi-led coalition has vowed a strong response to missile and drone attacks launched by Houthi forces against Saudi Arabia.
