He said these martyrs belonged not to one side or another, but to Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>He said political differences were a separate matter, but no minister had attended the martyrs\u2019 funerals. He questioned whether political leaders had become so insensitive that neither they nor their ministers went to the funerals.<\/p>\n<p>The interior minister said most Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf members did not want to launch a long march and did not even know what their demand was. He said Imran Khan\u2019s treatment would be carried out according to the law, not according to his wishes, adding that Khan had undergone a medical check-up the previous day.<\/p>\n<p>Mohsin Naqvi said preparations were under way to storm Islamabad and that anyone attempting to shut down the federal capital would face strict legal action. He said an Islamabad High Court order was already in place and would be implemented in full.<\/p>\n<p>He urged people not to enter a dead end or create a situation from which there would be no way back. He said the government would use every legal option available.<\/p>\n<p>Naqvi said the government would not allow a situation in which people arrived in Islamabad and shut down the country for 10 or 20 days. He added that a permanent strategy would be adopted and the federal government would play its full role.<\/p>\n<p>Asked about the threat to turn Islamabad into \u201cSomnath,\u201d the interior minister said those making provocative statements could continue doing so, as it would make no difference.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the increase in petroleum prices, Mohsin Naqvi said he did not want to comment extensively on the economy. He said petrol prices increased according to the global market, while petrol was unavailable in several countries.<\/p>\n<p>He said that given the current situation, the federal minister was right in saying that petrol might not even be available for Rs1,000.
