He reiterated that Iran was ready to open its nuclear programme to international inspections.<\/p>\n<p>The Iranian president also blamed the United States for the war that has continued in the Middle East for nearly seven months.<\/p>\n<p>During a special interview, he was asked whether Iran wanted a nuclear bomb. Pezeshkian replied in three words: \u201cAbsolutely, absolutely not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said Iran\u2019s martyred and respected Supreme Leader had repeatedly declared that, under Islamic law, acquiring nuclear weapons was religiously impermissible and illegal.<\/p>\n<p>Pezeshkian said Iran had no issue regarding an agreement with the United States.
