Participants discussed the deteriorating political and security situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and PTI\u2019s proposed march towards Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said both an emergency and governor\u2019s rule were discussed, but no decision was taken to implement either measure at this stage. The prevailing view was to observe PTI\u2019s conduct over the coming days, particularly whether it cancels the October 4 march and makes a significant change to its political approach.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the government is prepared to give PTI an opportunity to ease tensions and demonstrate its willingness to move away from what federal authorities regard as confrontational politics.
