The LNG carrier Al Areesh berthed at Engro\u2019s LNG terminal at 11:05 a.m., while the process of converting LNG back into natural gas began at noon.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan requires 24 LNG cargoes to meet its gas needs during the winter of 2026\u201327.<\/p>\n<p>Gas demand at Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited is expected to rise from the current 550 million cubic feet per day to 1,550 million cubic feet per day during winter.
