He reached the milestone off 114 balls, hitting 10 sixes and 21 fours, before being dismissed for 202.<\/p>\n<p>Sri Lanka then reached the 430-run target with one delivery to spare, completing the second-highest successful run chase in ODI history.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the post-match press conference, Brook said he always stressed the importance of playing match-winning innings and was not happy about scoring a double century when his team had failed to win.<\/p>\n<p>He said his double century had no significance for him because England had lost. Praising Sri Lanka, he said they had played outstanding cricket, hitting boundaries while also taking singles.<\/p>\n<p>Brook added that nearly 900 runs had been scored on the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium pitch, which he considered excellent.
