Islamabad: The leadership of the Pakistan Army has announced enforcement of military laws, including the Army Act, against those involved in attacks on military installations. The announcement was made after the Corps Commanders’ Conference held on Monday. It was stated in the issued statement that the attacks on military installations were planned and executed under a well-thought-out strategy, and that the armed forces are well aware of the planners, executors, and those providing motivation for such attacks.<\/p>\n

Commander’s Conference emphasized the urgent need to generate national consensus to eliminate internal uncertainties within the country. The armed forces were urged to support efforts in this regard.<\/p>\n

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forum acknowledged and applauded the successful counter-terrorism operations and intelligence-based missions carried out by the security forces, particularly the courageous response of the military in the Muslim Bagh attack. The conference also paid tribute to the brave sons of the soil who sacrificed their lives, commending their valor.<\/p>\n

During the Commander’s Conference, the forum was extensively briefed on the current internal and external security environment by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) according to sources.<\/p>\n

The military has assessed the current security situation to achieve political gains during the past few days.<\/p>\n

According to the Army’s Public Relations Department, during the briefing, it was revealed that a coordinated plan involving desecration of martyrs’ images, disrespecting memorials, setting historical buildings on fire, and sabotaging military installations was put into action.
