Announcement of the deaths of five passengers, including two Pakistanis, aboard a watercraft lost at sea, on top of a century-old submarine tanker.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the American news agency CNN, the owner of the watercraft has stated that no passengers remain aboard. CNN reported, citing Ocean Gate’s reference, that we deeply regret the loss of lives.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, the US Coast Guard expressed condolences to the grieving families during a press briefing.<\/p>\n

Among the passengers on the watercraft are a British billionaire and philanthropist, 58-year-old Hamish Hardin, and Pakistani-origin businessman, 48-year-old Prince Dawood, accompanied by his 19-year-old son Suleiman, both British citizens. Additionally, renowned French marine expert and Titanic expert, 77-year-old Paul-Henry Nargeolet, and Ocean Gate’s founder and Chief Executive Stockton Rush were also present on board.<\/p>\n

The Pakistani Foreign Office has also expressed condolences to the affected families, including the Dawood family.<\/p>\n

Citing Ocean Gate, CNN reported that we now sadly believe with certainty that our CEO Stockton Rush, Prince Dawood, his son Suleiman Dawood, and Hamid Hardin are no longer alive.<\/p>\n

The statement mentioned that these individuals were genuine explorers who had a deep passion for adventure, and in these heartbreaking moments, our hearts are with each member of these five individuals and their families.<\/p>\n

The statement further stated that this is an extremely tragic time for our hardworking employees who are deeply devastated and saddened by this loss.<\/p>\n

Minutes before Ocean gate’s statement came out, the US Coast Guard said the robot had found “debris” while searching for the submarine and said experts were reviewing the information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
