Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has strongly condemned the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and stated that Turkey will continue to oppose Sweden’s inclusion in NATO.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to international news agencies, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has categorically denounced the incidents of desecration of the Holy Quran as part of an anti-Islamic hate campaign. He made it clear that Turkey will maintain its opposition to Sweden’s inclusion in NATO.<\/p>\n

He stated that the desecration of the Holy Quran is not an expression of freedom but rather an organized anti-Islamic hate campaign, which was initiated by the attack on a mosque in Christchurch.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Swedish police rejected the requests for protests against the Holy Quran, and the courts rejected the appeal, stating that such protests would be a violation of freedom of expression.<\/p>\n

It is evident that there is a global wave of protests against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden, and the Pakistani government has decided to observe July 7 as the Day of Quranic Sanctity.
