The Karachi Election Tribunal has dismissed a second appeal filed against Shahbaz Sharif, the President of the Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), in the ongoing legal proceedings related to electoral matters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Election Tribunal of Sindh High Court heard the appeal against approval of the nomination papers of former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif from NA-242, in which the petitioner Hasnain Chauhan took the stand that Shehbaz Sharif did not affix a valid affidavit in the papers of NA-242.<\/p>\n

The petitioner said that Shahbaz Sharif has made a false statement regarding business in the affidavit and the documents of Shahbaz Sharif should be rejected by invalidating the decision of the RO.<\/p>\n

After hearing the arguments of the petitioner, the Election Tribunal rejected his appeal, but the written decision will be issued later.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the Election Tribunal rejected the appeal against the approval of Shahbaz Sharif’s nomination papers from NA-242 constituency of Karachi, while Mustafa Kamal of MQM-Pakistan is also a candidate from the same constituency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
