Yesterday marked the commencement of the new academic year across Punjab, yet unfortunately, free textbooks couldn’t be distributed to 48,000 schools in the province.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Usually, free textbooks are delivered to school storerooms before the announcement of school results, but so far, no new textbooks have reached any school during the ongoing academic year.<\/p>\n

Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashood stated that the distribution phase of 30% of the books has been completed by March 31st, the second phase will be completed by April 20th, and the third phase by May 20th.<\/p>\n

He mentioned that a total of 20 million books are to be published, out of which 7.5 million have already been published, and 4.5 million books have been delivered to the districts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
