The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to dissolve it as a political party forthwith..<\/p>\n

<\/strong>In its post, the ECP has raised serious questions about the recent intra-party elections of the PTI. The Election Commission has appointed the General Council without party elections. Concerns have been expressed about the selection and meetings of the central committee.<\/p>\n

According to the Election Commission, the intra-party elections of Tehreek-e-Insaf have not been held for 5 years, so how are the various party organizations working? Keeping this issue in mind, it has been suggested to terminate PTI as a party.<\/p>\n

It may be noted that during the recent hearing of the PTI intra-party election case, the Election Commission had directed Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Khan to submit a reply to the objections in the elections.
