Islamabad: A break has been taken in the hearing of appeals against the sentences in the case of the marriage during the iddat period of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>District and Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjamand of the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad heard the appeals of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi against the sentence in the Iddat Nikah case.<\/p>\n

The assistant lawyer informed the court that Rizwan Abbasi is supposed to present arguments, but he does not have the records. In response, the judge asked Usman Riaz Gill if he also had to present arguments, instructing him to finalize his. Advocate Usman Riaz Gill informed the court that he would take 10 to 15 minutes for his arguments.<\/p>\n

Judge Shahrukh Arjumand remarked that Rizwan Abbasi must present his arguments to the court by 1 PM, either in person or via video link. The court indicated that it might deliver a decision on the appeals against the sentences in the iddat marriage case today. Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing until 1 PM.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that on April 9, the District and Sessions Court Islamabad adjourned the hearing of the appeals against the sentences in the iddat marriage case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi until April 15.
