Senior Minister of Punjab,<\/strong>\u00a0Maryam Aurangzeb, has officially announced that the production of plastic bags has been banned in Punjab, effective from today.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This announcement came during her address at the International Conference held in Lahore on World Environment Day.<\/p>\n

She stated that from today onwards, a ban has been imposed on plastic bags in the first phase across Punjab, and regulating plastic bags is a government policy.<\/p>\n

Maryam Aurangzeb further mentioned that amendments will be made to the Motor Vehicle Ordinance, and a crackdown against plastic and tire-burning plants is underway.<\/p>\n

During her speech at the International Conference, the Senior Minister of Punjab also emphasized the need to change one’s mindset.<\/p>\n

She also stated that consumers need to stop using plastic; if you don’t buy, I won’t buy, leading to a reduction in usage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
