{"id":7971,"date":"2024-07-12T18:16:41","date_gmt":"2024-07-12T13:16:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=7971"},"modified":"2024-07-12T18:23:40","modified_gmt":"2024-07-12T13:23:40","slug":"akshay-kumar-tests-positive-for-covid-19-on-ambanis-big-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakalerts.net\/english\/?p=7971","title":{"rendered":"Akshay Kumar Tests Positive For COVID-19 On Ambani&#8217;s Big Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Akshay Kumar will be missing out on Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant\u2019s wedding celebrations in Mumbai on Friday as he has tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<i>OMG 2\u00a0<\/i>actor will not only miss out on the Ambani wedding but also the final leg of his promotions for his latest release<i>\u00a0Sarfira,<\/i>\u00a0according to sources.<\/p>\n<p>Kumar starting feeling unwell after some crew members of his promotions team contracted COVID symptoms and tested positive in the wee hours of Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Anant had personally invited the\u00a0<i>Ram Setu<\/i>\u00a0star to his wedding, which he won\u2019t be able to attend as he is currently in quarantine.<\/p>\n<p>To note, the\u00a0<i>Cuttputtli\u00a0<\/i>star therefore was a guest at Ambani\u2019s Jamnagar pre-wedding celebrations earlier this year where he showed off his killer dance moves.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with\u00a0<i>HT,<\/i>\u00a0Kumar after the Jamnagar event had only good things to say about that night, \u201cIt happened around 3 in the morning. It was grand of course, but besides that the Ambani family was so loving and caring, they left no stone unturned to make everyone feel included. Anant and Radhika were very gracious hosts, may Mahakaal bless the happy couple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To note, this ain\u2019t the first time the\u00a0<i>Raksha Bandhan<\/i>\u00a0star has contracted the virus as he previously fell victim to it in 2021<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for Covid-19. Following all the protocols I have immediately isolated myself. I am under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care,\u201d he had shared a statement on Twitter, formerly X at that time.<\/p>\n<p>He tested positive again in 2022 just before representing his home country India at the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWas really looking forward to rooting for our cinema at the India Pavilion at #Cannes2022, but have sadly tested positive for Covid.
